I would like to thank Lion Chuck Hughes for a fine job last year. I hope we can have another good year in 2010-2011. We had a fine year with the CS&L Class at Mill Creek School. Thanks to all Lions that helped me. At the School Board Meeting on June 6th, we recognized 4 young people in the class. They were Paige Barkowiak 174.25hrs, Amelia Sadler 167hrs, Sara Wartman 129.5 hrs. and Kourtney Koch with 119 hrs.for a total of 582.75 hrs of community service for this year. Paige and Kourtney are in a Dexter Girl Scout Troup who helped me raise $2,500.00 for the World War II Vets to go to Washington D.C. Congratulations to Andy Dettling for his Melvin Jones Award, Jim Warden for being awarded Lion of the Year and Dick Dettling for taking on the job as Second Vice District President.

Dexter Lions Golf and Steak Fry is July 15. Golf is at Hudson Mills. The steak fry will continue at Andy Dettling's home.

District Motor Cycle Run is July 31 from 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. We will need 2 people to sign up for 2/hrs each shift.
