Membership Update
The Dexter Lions continue to add new members to their club. In 2021-2023 we have added 20 new members! This August, we are excited to welcome 5 new members. Presently the Dexter Lions has 66 members (19 men and 17 women), including 12 couples. The Dexter Lions continue to look for more members as their projects and involvement in community activities increases every year.
BECOME A MEMBER
Dexter Lions members pay dues to the District (11-B1), State (MD-11) and International Lions. The annual dues are $75.00 from July 1st to June 30th each year. There is an initiation fee of $35.00 to Lions Clubs International for new members. Dues are prorated if joining during the membership year.
Lions meet the needs of local communities and the world. Our 1.4 million members – who perform community service in over 209 countries and geographic areas – are different in many ways, but share a core belief: community is what we make it. Our members are a network of individual clubs united in helping others and improving their communities.
*If a person a veteran or under 30 years of age and enrolled in school, the initiation fee of $35.00 is waived Lions Clubs International.
*If 2 people in a household (husband-wife, father-son, father-daughter, mother-son, mother-daughter) join their total individual dues are $5.00 less per person.
